This college was established in 1969 on the occasion of 500th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Feeling the need of women education in the area; this temple of learning was established. Today this institute is giving valuable services for fulfilling our dreams. Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji voiced his concern about the place of woman in society and said-

Principal's Message
In the fast - changing and chaotic modern times, the young generation need to develop a strong and multi-faceted personality. The unlimited craving for material possessions, power and success is putting a burden on the young minds. Finding themselves unable to copy up with demands and pressures of life, they take drastic steps sometimes. But life is to be appreciated and not to be wasted. So my sincere advice to you is to develop a strong and disciplined mind and try to re-discover the moral and spiritual values that we have lost in the chaos and turmoil of the modern world.
