Guru Nanak College for Women, Banga celebrated International Women’s Day on March 6, 2020.This day honours the achievements and calls attention to the rights of women. International Women’s Day is a global celebration of womens’s contribution to the world. The chief guest of the event was DR. Daljit Kaur Pannu, the renowned ophthalmologist and resolute social worker, and the revered lady of grit and S. Balbir Singh Bains from England run Khalsa International sports and Educational Trust, Punjab which functions with the help of the NRI’s. The trust graciously gave the sum of 50,000/- Rs for the underprivileged students of the college. On this occasion various dignitaries from the different walks of life were also present. President, College Managing Committee Smt. Jaswant Kaur, Member’s of the committee and Principal Dr. Kanwaljit felicitated the guests.
